Booking Terms & Conditions
Please read the below given terms and conditions carefully before booking or accepting any offer. You must not book or accept any offer provided by Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd unless you understand and agree to booking terms and conditions. These apply to all bookings, either made by search engine, telephone, and enquiry form or in office booking.
You must be 18 years or older of age, to understand and agree with the below given terms and conditions.
Quoted airfares are subject to change, alteration or withdrawal with prior notice.
All available airfares provided by Oz Travel Shoppe Trading as Gurkha Travel exclude taxes and airport charges, and are subject to availability.
Fares can change at any time without prior notice by reasons outside of our control, such as fuel surcharges, adverse currency fluctuations, taxes etc.
Your booking order form available is only a request to us. We do not provide any guarantee in relation to any airfares displayed at our website, until the booking has been done, paid for in full and the ticket is issued.
Airline availability, class of travel and fare conditions can change at any time, due to other special conditions may apply.
Carefully check and understand Airlines’ ticketing rules, terms & conditions and restrictions apply to all fares. Confirm all the rules, special conditions, which may be imposed by the airline and please do not proceed if you have any doubt or concern.
Discounted or lower fares may be available to only selected destinations. Please confirm the details and conditions apply to it, before finalising the booking.
Once you have finalised the booking, you are bound to accept all the terms & conditions including Airline, wholesale ticketing, Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd and any third party terms.
We do not take any liability of flight schedules; please confirm the departure time of the flight 72 hour prior from the Airline.
All airline tickets must be issued in the name as per given on the Passport/ ID Proof, if name differs then some carriers will deny the booking and may be cancelled. It is your responsibility to provide correct details (name and dates) and confirm before finalising the booking.
Booking may have to be cancelled or charges apply if you ask for any changes to your existing booking. You need to bear all such costs.
Additional charges could be added to the quoted price of the ticket but not limited to government taxes and airport facility charges.
Payment surcharges may apply as per your chosen payment method, for example PayPal, Credit Card etc. Once the payment has been made, you agree to not seek back the payment.
For any changes in the booked flight ticket, via online or other available options, kindly contact our “Travel Consultants” immediately on given contact number in contact us page. Any changes (as per conditions) will attract applicable charges that must be paid.
We require travel documents to confirm the arrangements with service providers, documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, tour vouchers, hotel vouchers, or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise). All travel documents are non-transferable. Make sure to book all airline tickets on the name of the passport/photo identity, as some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled.
Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees.
It is your responsibility to collect all travel documents prior to travel. Please contact your consultant the day before collection to confirm that the travel documents are ready for collection.
Passports & Visas
All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel with minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry / travel.
If you are travelling to the United States, please read carefully all the information regarding compulsory pre-registration for their visa waiver program from the given link - https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. Please note, it might be possible that you may not meet the requirements of ESTA and are required to obtain a visa.
It’s your responsibility to check and carry Passport, Visa and Health requirements.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits, which meet all the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility
We would help you to obtain the right information regarding visa and other travel document requirements for your trip from an external visa advisory service provider
on your behalf. We do not warrant the accuracy of such information and accept no liability for any loss or damage, which you may suffer in reliance on it.
We recommend buying travel insurance prior to your journey. We provide complete information and help to choose the most suitable one according to your requirements.
Before you buy travel insurance, make sure to read all the documents and ensure that it meets your needs; we do not endorse any products to you. Please read insurance terms and conditions carefully before making a final decision. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel.
It is your responsibility to check your details (Names and itinerary) and confirm us if any changes required before proceeding with full and final payment to get tickets issued. Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd is from here on not Liable for any errors and omissions.
We will send an email with all the details including names of travelers and Itinerary, etc. at the address you supplied to us, please check all the details carefully and inform us of any discrepancies. We do not accept any liabilities if you avoid or didn’t check your email for detailed information and its contents.
Carry-on Baggage at International Airports
Please read and follow all the security guidelines and rules of International Airports. Changes occur frequently to increase your safety. Make sure you are not carrying any liquids, aerosols and gels on flights into and out of Australia, as they are not allowed. These rules are made for your and aircraft safety from the threat of liquid explosives, so please ensure you read the Security Guide for Carry-on Baggage at International Airports.
Checked Baggage at International Airports
72hrs prior to flying please re-confirm your checked baggage allowance directly with the airlines. You can also check the airlines website directly to re-confirm your checked baggage allowance.
Refunds, Changes and Cancellation Fees
Once tickets are issued charges apply for ticket refunds, cancellations, re-issues, and changes (where permitted by the airline) will incur Airline fees, wholesale ticketing fees (50 AUD) and a Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd fee (AUD 165 per person for cancellation and AUD 110 for reissues) as well as additional charges, if any, apply and are to borne by the customer.
In case of schedule change by the airline, where a full refund from the airlines is applicable, a service fee of 50 AUD fee per person will be deducted and the rest of the amount will be refunded to the passenger when the full refund is received.
In case the flight is cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of the airlines or travel agent (e.g. pandemic), there will be a cancellation fee of 125 AUD applicable per person plus any airline fee as per their rules.
We do not guarantee any refunds if the flights are cancelled
In case of open tickets there will be a non refundable/non adjustable fee of 100 AUD applicable
In some countries may you need to pay local taxes and surcharges at the departure terminal these are not included with this purchase.
Deposits are non-refundable except in our absolute discretion, deposit if paid will be forfeited to us.
If you cancel a booking after payment of a deposit, the deposit will be forfeited to Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd to reimburse our service costs of processing your booking.
If you fail to make full payment by the date notified, by Telephone, Verbally, Email or SMS your booking will cancel and the deposit paid will be forfeited to us.
We would refund your amount, after and only when we receive the funds from the relevant supplier (airlines or consolidator)
Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd accepts Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard & Online Direct Deposit.
Credit Card transactions may incur an additional 0.75% Surcharge.
We will not be responsible for any breaches of security.
We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, control of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd. If, due to any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the provider and not with Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, and such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements.
Payment for Bookings is accepted by cash, cheque, direct deposit or credit card. A surcharge may apply for credit card payments on these transactions. Before you proceed to book a flight or service through Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd please, be aware that you enter into a legally binding contract to acquire such flight or service from the time when payment is made. After this point any cancellations will incur the cancellation fees set out above to the fullest extent permitted by law, Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd - disclaims all liability and responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by you using this site, or relying on anything contained in or omitted from this site.
We do not accept any liability in contract, or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event, which is beyond our control that is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Make sure to be aware about any health requirements for your travel and make sure to carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please check with your local doctor or specialist vaccination clinic.

The Trade Practices Act (1978) (Cth) and all corresponding state and territory legislation implies and prohibits the exclusions, restriction and modification of such terms. You must nor transmit or attempt to transmit any data, code or other material of any kind to this Site that contains a virus or other harmful component.
Access to the Site
Oz Travel Shoppe Pty Ltd doesn’t warrant that access to the website will be the services offered on the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to discontinue or change any feature/ service on this Site, hours of availability and equipment or software required for access.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
